John Leslie Mackie (25 de agosto de 1917 - 12 de dezembro de 1981) foi um filósofo australiano.
Carreira Ele fez contribuições significativas para a filosofia da religião, metafísica e filosofia da linguagem, e talvez seja mais conhecido por seus pontos de vista sobre metaética, especialmente sua defesa do ceticismo moral, bem como sua defesa sofisticada do ateísmo. Ele escreveu seis livros. Seu mais conhecido, Ethics: Inventing Right and Wrong (1977), abre com ousadia afirmando: "Não há valores objetivos". Continua argumentando que, por causa disso, a ética deve ser inventado em vez de descoberto.
