Shinjū (心中, calteres pa "mente" y "centru") significa "doble suicidiu" en xaponés, como en Shinjū Ten non Amijima, novela escrita por Chikamatsu Monzaemon nel sieglu XVII pa teatru de marionetes (bunraku) y teatru joruri.
Utilízase davezu pal suicidiu d'un grupu de persones xuníes pol amor, de normal amigos, padres, fíos ya inclusive families enteres.
