Valtorta, Tarelli, Campanati, Villa and Greengard.Synaptophysin and synapsin I as tools for the study of the exo-endocytotic cycle.1989.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2517595Betz and Bewick.Optical analysis of synaptic vesicle recycling at the frog neuromuscular junction.1992.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1553547Zimmermann, Volknandt, Wittich and Hausinger.Synaptic vesicle life cycle and synaptic turnover.1993.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8136785Sudhof.The synaptic vesicle cycle: a cascade of protein-protein interactions.1995.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7791897Sudhof.
Tetanus toxin action: inhibition of neurotransmitter release linked to synaptobrevin proteolysis.1992.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1361727Schiavo, Benfenati, Poulain, Rossetto, Polverino de Laureto, DasGupta and Montecucco.Tetanus and botulinum-B neurotoxins block neurotransmitter release by proteolytic cleavage of synaptobrevin.1992.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1331807Fasshauer, Sutton, Brunger and Jahn.Conserved structural features of the synaptic fusion complex: SNARE proteins reclassified as Q- and R-SNAREs.1998.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9861047Sudhof and Rizo.Synaptic vesicle exocytosis.2011.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22026965Jahn and Fasshauer. Lewis, Rayner and Pelham.A novel SNARE complex implicated in vesicle fusion with the endoplasmic reticulum.1997.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9214619Antonin, Fasshauer, Becker, Jahn and Schneider.Crystal structure of the endosomal SNARE complex reveals common structural principles of all SNAREs.2002.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11786915Bonifacino and Glick. The mechanisms of vesicle budding and fusion.2004.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14744428Jahn and Scheller.SNAREs--engines for membrane fusion.2006.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16912714 Estas proteínas contienen un motivo característico llamado dominio SNAREFasshauer, Eliason, Brunger and Jahn.Identification of a minimal core of the synaptic SNARE complex sufficient for reversible assembly and disassembly.1998.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9671503 que es básicamente una estructura helicoidal. Synaptobrevin: an integral membrane protein of 18,000 daltons present in small synaptic vesicles of rat brain.1989.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2498078 y las proteínas de la membrana plasmática Sintaxina-1Bennett, Calakos and Scheller.Syntaxin: a synaptic protein implicated in docking of synaptic vesicles at presynaptic active zones.1992.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1321498 y SNAP 25.Oyler, Higgins, Hart, Battenberg, Billingsley, Bloom and Wilson. The identification of a novel synaptosomal-associated protein, SNAP-25, differentially expressed by neuronal subpopulations.1989.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2592413 Además de su dominio SNARE, la proteína sintaxina posee un dominio adicional denominado HabcFernandez, Ubach, Dulubova, Zhang, Sudhof and Rizo.Three-dimensional structure of an evolutionarily conserved N-terminal domain of syntaxin 1A.1998.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9753330 con importantes funciones en la regulación de la formación del complejo SNARE.Dulubova, Sugita, Hill, Hosaka, Fernandez, Sudhof and Rizo.A conformational switch in syntaxin during exocytosis: role of munc18.1999.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10449403Fasshauer and Margittai.A transient N-terminal interaction of SNAP-25 and syntaxin nucleates SNARE assembly.2004.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14665625Dulubova, Khvotchev, Liu, Huryeva, Sudhof and Rizo.Munc18-1 binds directly to the neuronal SNARE complex.2007.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17301226Khvotchev, Dulubova, Sun, Dai, Rizo and Sudhof. Poirier, Xiao, Macosko, Chan, Shin and Bennett. The synaptic SNARE complex is a parallel four-stranded helical bundle.1998.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9731768Sutton, Fasshauer, Jahn and Brunger.Crystal structure of a SNARE complex involved in synaptic exocytosis at 2.4 A resolution.1998.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9759724
Identification of a minimal core of the synaptic SNARE complex sufficient for reversible assembly and disassembly.1998.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9671503 y en dirección de N a C terminal. Sudhof and Rizo. Jahn and Scheller.SNAREs--engines for membrane fusion.2006.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16912714Jahn and Grubmuller.Membrane fusion.2002.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12383801Kozlovsky and Kozlov.Stalk model of membrane fusion: solution of energy crisis.2002.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11806930
Role of Rab27 in synaptic transmission at the squid giant synapse.2008.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18840683), y la proteína de la familia SM (del inglés Sec1/Munc18-like) Munc18.Hata, Slaughter and Sudhof.Synaptic vesicle fusion complex contains unc-18 homologue bound to syntaxin.1993.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8247129Deak, Xu, Chang, Dulubova, Khvotchev, Liu, Sudhof and Rizo. Verhage, Maia, Plomp, Brussaard, Heeroma, Vermeer, Toonen, Hammer, van den Berg, Missler, Geuze and Sudhof.Synaptic assembly of the brain in the absence of neurotransmitter secretion.2000.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10657302Varoqueaux, Sigler, Rhee, Brose, Enk, Reim and Rosenmund.Total arrest of spontaneous and evoked synaptic transmission but normal synaptogenesis in the absence of Munc13-mediated vesicle priming.2002.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12070347 También se han observado defectos ultraestructurtales en los ratones deficientes de Munc13Siksou, Triller and Marty. An emerging view of presynaptic structure from electron microscopic studies.2009.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19154334 y RIM1Kaeser, Deng, Wang, Dulubova, Liu, Rizo and Sudhof.RIM proteins tether Ca2+ channels to presynaptic active zones via a direct PDZ-domain interaction.2011.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21241895 y en gusanos Caenorhabditis elegans carentes de la proteína Rab3,Gracheva, Hadwiger, Nonet and Richmond.Direct interactions between C. elegans RAB-3 and Rim provide a mechanism to target vesicles to the presynaptic density.2008.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18721860 si bien es cierto, que este último defecto no ha sido observado en ratones carentes de esta proteína,Leenders, Lopes da Silva, Ghijsen and Verhage.Rab3a is involved in transport of synaptic vesicles to the active zone in mouse brain nerve terminals.2001.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11598194Schluter, Schmitz, Jahn, Rosenmund and Sudhof. Coleman, Bill and Bykhovskaia.Rab3a deletion reduces vesicle docking and transmitter release at the mouse diaphragm synapse.2007.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17640821 La ausencia de efecto en estos animales probablemente se deba a duplicaciones génicas compensatorias a lo largo de la escala evolutiva.Schluter, Schmitz, Jahn, Rosenmund and Sudhof. Leenders, Lopes da Silva, Ghijsen and Verhage.Rab3a is involved in transport of synaptic vesicles to the active zone in mouse brain nerve terminals.2001.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11598194
