La cucha mariposa o pleco leopardo (Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps) es una especie de pez de la familia Loricariidae en el orden de los Siluriformes.

Presenta una aleta dorsal grande con 11 a 14 radios ramificados. Su preopérculo es móvil.
