Michael Francis Fay (1960) es un botánico, taxónomo, y genetista inglés.
Pertenecía al personal científico del Real Jardín Botánico de Kew desde 1986 hasta 2026.
Fue el editor fundador de Botanic Gardens Micropropagation News (ISSN 0962-7448) y editor en jefe de Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society desde 2008 hasta 2023.
También fue el presidente del Grupo de Especialistas en Orquídeas de la UICN, 2006-2025.
